Binocular Chest Harness

The word, ‘chest’ in binocular chest harness sounds kind of weird. I mean, how do you hook your optics up to your chest?? It’s kind of crazy. But what the title, ‘binocular chest harness’ leaves out is that it also uses your back and shoulders to strap your optics in. Did you notice I left out the neck? Awesome, right? You have no idea.
Anyone who uses binos without binocular chest harness systems knows exactly what I’m talking about. Almost every optics strap is a single band that rests right on the lower part of your neck. Well, that only works for a few minutes before your muscles start to tense. It’s crazy, really. Who would have thought that those itty bitty little optics could feel like they weight 50 lbs? With a binocular chest harness, they don’t.
The binocular chest harness can double for a camera strapping system, too. I know, right. It’s awesome. Cameras have been a big problem up until I discovered the binocular chest harness. I mean, what are you supposed to do with them? You can’t walk around the whole day with the use of just one hand… (I apologize to any of you who had an accident and are only left with one hand.) But honestly, we have two hands for a reason, and that reason is not to carry around binos or cameras all day.
Not only do I not have to carry either of these items in my hand or on my neck, but I can also rest assured with the binocular chest harness that they will be safely protected. Those single band straps allowed them to swing all over the place before. So not only did my neck hurt, I constantly was banging them around. I mean, these succors aren’t cheap, am I right? I have to be careful with mine and that’s why I only use a binocular chest harness anymore.
